Some text/thoughts:
What I’ve noticed, or rather fuzzily remember, is that in the early 2000s internet, sometimes pagan themes got lumped into goth at the time. Is it because a lot of goths online back then also had interest in pagan stuff, whether it’s for aesthetic reasons, were into actual paganism, or is it because paganistic themes were generally in fashion with goths in the early 2000s? Or maybe there was a correlation between being into goth and being into paganism or witchcraft, or the movie ‘the Craft’?
